Packing and Moving Tips
- Always fill boxes completely, stuffing open areas with plain newspaper, to prevent collapsing when stacked.
- Furniture drawers are a great place to pack fragile or delicate items.
- Large appliances offer large spaces to store items, such as pots, pans and plastic ware.
- Tables with removable legs can be broken down to conserve space (tape hardware in plastic bag under the table top or replace it where you removed it).
- Sofas and loveseats can usually be stored on end to save floor space.
